Job Summary
Design an innovative Family Medicine residency curriculum and mentor residents at Gulf Coast Medical Center and Lee Memorial Hospital. Shape the vision for a new 12:12:12 residency program launching in partnership with Florida State University, while delivering clinical care in inpatient, outpatient, or blended roles. Board-certified physicians with three years of teaching experience will contribute to building an exceptional graduate medical enterprise alongside new fellowships in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Board-certified Family Physicians (MD/DO)

- Permanent mark on graduate medical education
- Graduate of an accredited Residency Program in Family Medicine
- Respective Board Certification (or Board Eligibility as appropriate)
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida
- Ability to obtain unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida prior to start date
- Clear, unrestricted DEA
- Minimum 3 years experience in a teaching or faculty capacity with a graduate medical education program
- Current BLS credential
- Current ACLS credential
- Current PALS credential
