Job Summary
Family Medicine Residency Core Faculty member to lead and teach in the Lewiston GME program. Responsibilities include direct clinical supervision and teaching of Family Medicine residents in inpatient and outpatient settings; participation in didactic teaching, case conferences, and curriculum development; mentoring residents in scholarly activities, research, and quality improvement; participation in faculty development and academic committees; supporting residency recruitment, accreditation, and program evaluation; maintaining an active clinical practice while serving as an educational role model for residents and medical students. Requires MD or DO, Board Certified in Family Medicine (or Board Eligible withTimely Certification), and eligibility for Maine medical licensure; experience in graduate medical education or teaching residents preferred; compensation includes base salary with productivity incentives and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified in Family Medicine (or Board Eligible with certification within required timeframe)
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Maine
- Experience in graduate medical education or teaching residents preferred
- Strong commitment to medical education, mentorship, and patient-centered care
