Family Liaison

Job Summary
Foster partnerships between families and the school by facilitating communication, providing support services, and promoting active engagement in the school community. Bridge gaps between families and the school, assist families in accessing resources such as academic programs, tutoring, extracurricular activities, counseling services, and mental health support; promote regular attendance; conduct home visits; serve as the primary contact for families seeking assistance; collaborate with Student Services and other staff to support student intervention planning; provide language support and interpretation as needed; develop and implement family education programs; engage families in leadership opportunities (e.g., BPAC); attend meetings with community partners to strengthen relationships; track family interactions and student progress; monitor and report on the effectiveness of family engagement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or associate degree preferred
- Previous family liaison or social work experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license and car insurance
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Spanish

- Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, child development, or related field preferred
