Job Summary
Assist MPS program staff to provide safe, positive educational experiences for infants through preschoolers of MPS student parents; supervise children, support classroom activities, assist with meals and health/safety checks, help with field trips, observe and report on children's development, maintain classroom environments and records, and support parental communication and program records; requires basic classroom policies knowledge, safety awareness, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds as needed; strong emphasis on early childhood education, health and safety standards, and teamwork in a school setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent AND one year of experience working with children
- First Aid/CPR training is required
- College courses in Early Childhood Education are preferred
