Job Summary
Represent clients in divorce, custody, alimony, and property division cases by conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and advocating in court, mediations, and negotiations. Develop effective litigation and settlement strategies while providing empathetic, clear legal counsel. Engage in business development through client consultations, facilitating retainers, and participating in networking events to expand the firm's client base. Requires a Juris Doctor, active New Jersey Bar Admission, and four years of family law experience. Located in Parsippany, Hackensack, or Mount Laurel, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active New Jersey Bar Admission
- Minimum of four years of family law experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to explain complex legal concepts in a client-friendly manner
- Experience in consultative selling to attract and retain clients
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management software
Desired Qualifications
- Litigation experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce and iManage
- An existing book of business is a plus
