Job Summary
Join a Collaborative Family Law Team as a Domestic Relations Paralegal supporting high-asset family law matters. Handle discovery from start to finish, including follow-up and review; draft pleadings and assist with temporary orders and trial preparation; prepare subpoenas and review financial documentation; collaborate with the lead attorney on strategy; communicate with clients and attend hearings as appropriate. Ideal candidate has 3+ years of domestic relations experience, strong understanding of discovery and financial statements, is organized, proactive, and able to work independently within an in-office Columbus, Ohio environment. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of domestic relations experience preferred
- Strong understanding of domestic discovery processes
- Experience drafting pleadings and affidavits in domestic cases
- Professional client communication skills (without providing legal advice)
- Able to pass a BCI or FBI criminal background check
- In-office role with standard hours 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 37.5-hour work week
