Job Summary
Manage contested divorces, custody and access disputes, child and spousal support matters, and property equalization for clients requiring cost-effective, responsive legal services. Work independently or under senior direction to build strong client relationships while delivering outstanding legal counsel. Maintain membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario and apply strong analytical, research, and writing skills to complex family law cases. Required Qualifications
- minimum 3 years experience in a law firm dealing with Family Law matters
- excellent knowledge and understanding of matters related to contested divorces, custody and access disputes, child, and spousal support, as well as property and equalization of net family property
- ability to work independently or under the direction of senior lawyers as part of an established and growing team
- excellent communication skills
- entrepreneurial spirit
- proven success in building client relationships
- member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- strong analytical, research and writing skills
- excellent academic credentials
