Job Summary
Guide clients through divorces, custody disputes, child support, and modification matters with empathy and authoritative strategy. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements while overseeing case progression from initial strategy to final resolution. Make regular in-person court appearances, hearings, trials, and mediations across King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties. Collaborate effectively with experienced paralegals, legal assistants, and firm management to keep cases moving efficiently. Maintain proactive, transparent, and responsive communication to ensure exceptional client satisfaction. Requires 3+ years of hands-on family law experience in Washington State and active WSBA licensure. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $165,000 commensurate with experience and billing commitments.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on family law experience in Washington State
- Active member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA)
- Ability and willingness to travel for in-person court appearances, mediations, and client meetings in King, Snohomish, and Pierce counties
- A proactive, 'can-do' approach to problem-solving
- Strong self-awareness, personal boundaries, and mental resilience to manage the emotional dynamics of family law without taking the stress home
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
