Job Summary
Manage family law matters from intake through resolution, representing clients in court hearings, motions, and other litigation proceedings. Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and other legal documents while advising clients on divorce, custody, child support, alimony, and property division. Negotiate settlements and maintain strong client communication to deliver a high level of service. Work closely with internal staff to move cases forward efficiently, handling a caseload with increasing autonomy based on experience. This full-time, on-site role is based in Charlotte, Concord, Boone, or Asheville, North Carolina.
Required Qualifications
- Active North Carolina law license
- 1+ year of family law experience
- Litigation and courtroom experience
- Strong drafting, advocacy, and case management skills
- Ability to communicate confidently with clients during high-stakes and emotional matters
- Organized, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced in-office setting
- Must be licensed in North Carolina
