Job Summary
Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, custody, and support matters, ensuring their rights are protected and their voices heard. Collaborate with the team to develop strategies aligning with clients' best interests, prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings and agreements, and negotiate settlements meeting client needs. Advise clients on legal options and potential outcomes, then attend court hearings and trials to present evidence and arguments effectively. Maintain composure while handling sensitive issues like child abuse and domestic violence, and stay informed about changes in family law and related precedents. Licensed to practice law in West Virginia required.
