Job Summary
Conduct intensive, in-home mental health interventions with families facing serious emotional or behavioral challenges, holding individual and family sessions three times weekly. Manage a caseload of four to six families while driving up to 60 to 80 miles to meet them in their homes and communities. Perform ongoing strength-based assessments, collaborate with courts and case workers to formulate treatment plans, and provide on-call crisis support. Complete accurate documentation in an electronic medical record system and attend weekly clinical meetings and quarterly trainings. Schedule is flexible and non-traditional, based around the availability of youth and families served.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline
- Applicants must possess a current, valid driver's license
- Applicants must possess an automobile for work purposes
- Applicants must possess proof of auto insurance
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a social services discipline
- Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position
- Clinical experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Basic computer knowledge
