Family Intervention Specialist

Job Summary

Conduct individual and family sessions three times weekly, driving up to 80 miles to meet clients in their homes and communities. Carry a caseload of four to six families while performing ongoing, strength-based assessments to determine youth needs. Attend three weekly meetings for clinical consultation and professional development, then collaborate with case workers and courts to formulate treatment plans. Provide on-call crisis support and maintain accurate documentation in an electronic medical record system. Schedule is flexible and non-traditional, based on family availability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline
  • Applicants must possess a current, valid driver's license
  • Applicants must possess an automobile for work purposes
  • Applicants must possess proof of auto insurance
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a social services discipline (preferred)
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position (preferred)
  • Clinical experience (preferred)
