Job Summary

The Family Intervention Specialist is responsible for providing direct services guided by program requirements and an Individualized Service Plan with each child and family. The role emphasizes adherence to the YAP wraparound advocacy model and utilizing appropriate interventions. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, one year of experience with children and families, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Bilingual skills and EHR experience are preferred. Travel is required.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in social work, counseling, psychology or a related field
  • At least one (1) year experience working with children and families
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage
  • Travel is required

Desired Qualifications

  • Bilingual/Spanish speaking is a plus
  • Experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus
