Job Summary
Conduct intensive, in-home family interventions for youth facing serious emotional or behavioral challenges, holding individual and family sessions three times weekly at the family's convenience. Assess youth needs from a strength-focused perspective, drive up to 60 to 80 miles to meet families in their homes, and collaborate with providers, case workers, and courts to formulate collaborative treatment plans. Deliver on-call crisis support, complete accurate documentation in an electronic medical record system, and attend three weekly professional development meetings. Maintain a flexible, non-traditional schedule based on family availability while residing in Polk, Montgomery, Yell, or Scott counties and commuting to Conway weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Reside in Polk, Montgomery, Yell, or Scott counties
- Commute to Conway once a week
- Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline
- Current, valid driver's license
- Automobile for work purposes
- Proof of auto insurance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in a social services discipline
- Experience working with at-risk youth and/or families in a volunteer, internship, or paid position
- Clinical experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills
