Job Summary
Family Engagement Specialist to assist families in homes or communities under Head Start PFCE, build partnerships with parents and staff, recruit and enroll children, develop Family Partnership Agreements, access community resources, and maintain data and reporting. Requires reliable transportation, ability to work flexible schedules, 2+ years of experience with families, a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields (Master’s preferred), English fluency (Spanish preferred), proficiency with basic tech tools and Child Plus software, and the ability to de-escalate parent concerns while delivering high-quality customer service. Compensation ranges from $45,000 to $50,000 with a $500 hiring bonus after 90 days.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with families
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Human Services, Child and Family Development. Master's Degree preferred.
- Must have a working knowledge of Head Start policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Oral and written fluency in English required, Spanish fluency is preferred.
