Job Summary
Communicate with customers regarding eligibility issues, documentation requirements, complaints, and available early childhood development resources. Perform quality assurance reviews of eligibility determinations by verifying records and calculating income share of cost. Enter data into The Workforce Information system of Texas (TWIST) and the Financial Aid Communication System (FACS) accurately. Resolve customer and provider complaints immediately while maintaining organized customer files. Establish rapport with diverse populations and collaborate with team members. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to write clear and accurate correspondence
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
