Job Summary

Lead implementation of evidence-backed family engagement initiatives that align with grant objectives, delivering direct services, coaching, and technical assistance to families, educators, schools, and community partners. Facilitate parent leadership initiatives and cradle-to-career strategies to strengthen school readiness and post-secondary access while maintaining accountability for implementation fidelity and grant compliance. Design professional learning for stakeholders and curate implementation resources to build sustainable local capacity beyond the grant period. Collect and analyze data to monitor outcomes and prepare documentation for continuous improvement. Work onsite at Lee County High School during regular business hours, with occasional early morning, evening, or weekend availability and routine regional and statewide travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3 years of experience in education, community engagement or related field
  • Experience in human services
  • Experience coordinating multifaceted programs
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with rural schools and rural communities
  • Familiarity with the community school model
  • Experience working in rural schools or communities
  • Understanding of first generation, low-income youth and families
  • A desire to develop innovative approaches to meet outcomes
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks and to meet deadlines and expectations
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A commitment to students from diverse economic, social and cultural backgrounds
  • Computer skills including data processing and financial spreadsheets
  • Microsoft Office
  • Adobe
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Successfully complete pre-employment background check
  • Ability to accurately communicate and exchange information with partners, stakeholders, and/or meeting participants
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer software programs
  • Routine regional travel
  • Occasional statewide and national travel
  • Overnight stays
  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ET
  • Early morning, evening, or weekend hours
  • 12-month, year-round position
  • Regular, reliable onsite attendance
  • Remote or hybrid work not a standard arrangement
  • Ability to travel to meetings off-site
