Job Summary
Partner with families in the home setting using the Parents as Teachers curriculum to provide skills and knowledge for child health, development, and school readiness. Enroll and visit families on a regular schedule, creating weekly routes that optimize daily hours while maintaining engagement and meeting frequency requirements. Complete required development and health screenings, support follow-up evaluations, and assist families with resource connections for financial, healthcare, and educational services. Maintain well-written records, reports, and assessments in online data systems while adhering to federal, state, and district policies. Participate in professional development, team meetings, and monthly reflective supervision activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel across the county and state to participate in meetings and conferences
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in child development, education, social work, family studies or related fields
- Bilingual in English/Spanish
- Experience working with young children and their families, including connecting with and supporting at-risk populations
- Home visiting experience
