Job Summary
Represent the voice of the child throughout private and public law proceedings by undertaking Child Impact Analyses, safeguarding assessments, and Section 7 reports. Prepare high-quality reports and recommendations for the Family Court while working closely with families, legal professionals, local authorities, and partner agencies. Manage a varied caseload ensuring the child's welfare remains at the centre of all decision-making. This role supports children involved in family court proceedings within CAFCASS, a national organisation committed to ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Social Worker with a recognised Social Work qualification
- Social Work England registration
- Minimum of 3 years' post-qualified experience within children's services
- Previous experience completing court reports (Section 7, Child Impact Analysis, Private/Public Law work)
- Strong assessment, report writing, and court presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence
