Job Summary
MST Family Counselor provides intensive in-home services for youth ages 12 to 17 using Multisystemic Therapy, conducts individual and family sessions, engages primary caregivers and key participants, performs MST assessments, offers on-call crisis support, attends regular meetings for professional development, and maintains accurate EMR documentation. The role carries a caseload of 4 to 5 families, requires flexibility around youth/family availability, and requires a valid driver's license with mileage reimbursement for community-based work across home, school, and community settings.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a social services discipline (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in a social services discipline (required)
- One year of related experience in counseling and/or case management (required)
- Experience working with youth or families in need of crisis intervention (preferred)
- Clinical experience (preferred)
