Job Summary

Implement clinical therapeutic services under supervision, linking assessment, intervention design, and evaluation to achieve successful case outcomes. Provide on-call crisis response with 24/7 availability. Deliver individual, marital, and group therapy for children, adults, and families, utilizing trauma-informed care and evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT. Address school behavior, domestic violence, and substance abuse impacts within the client's natural ecology. Maintain clear communication and documentation while establishing effective relationships with diverse, at-risk families. Requires a Master's degree, relevant clinical experience, and a valid driver's license. Flexible work schedule supports accessibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Masters' Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency
  • License preferred
  • Over two years, up to and including four years
  • Demonstrated ability in experience and education in relevant aspects of clinical practice
  • Commitment to empowering families to be an effective problem solving and nurturing agents
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with people of diverse social, economic, ethnic/racial, and cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with at-risk families
  • Commitment to family centered, community based services
  • Commitment to children's safety and family stability
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in therapeutic assessment, interviewing and recording
  • Valid drivers license
  • Current no-fault insurance

  • Impact of substance abuse and its treatment
  • Impact of child abuse and neglect on development
  • Trauma informed care
  • Family systems theory and application
  • Social ecological theory and application
  • Effective therapies theory and application

  • Child development research and it's application in treatment
  • Social skills assessment and intervention
