Job Summary
Collaborate with CFS programs and community partners to implement therapeutic interventions, linking assessment, design, and evaluation to achieve successful case outcomes. Adjust service schedules to accommodate family needs, including evenings and weekends, while assessing family dynamics to determine appropriate approaches. Support reunification efforts with biological families and improve parenting skills within challenging environments. Respond to on-call crisis situations with 24/7 availability and maintain licensure/certification. Transport participants using a personal vehicle and travel island-wide as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Masters' Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency
- 1-4 years of post-masters experience
- Over two years, up to and including four years
- Good verbal and written skill in therapeutic assessment and treatment

- assess family dynamics, strengths and weaknesses to determine most appropriate approaches and interventions
- work with challenging families to improve their parenting skills
- support the commitment to preserving a participant's connection with their family of origin and reunification with biological family
- valid Hawaii driver's license
- clear driver's abstract
- use of personal vehicle to transport participants
- willingness to travel in personal vehicle on an as-needed basis throughout the island
- record clear of convictions
- on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- maintaining licensure/certification
- successful completion of CPI classes OR other Behavioral Management certification
- contacts both inside and outside the organization in order to furnish or obtain information and/or provide client services
- Normal courtesy, tact and discretion
