Family/Consumer Life Skills Teacher

Family/Consumer Life Skills Teacher for a Colorado middle school. Implement district-approved curriculum, develop and administer lesson plans and instructional materials, conduct ongoing assessment and differentiate instruction for diverse learners (including students with special needs), promote responsible citizenship, and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with colleagues, coordinate with grade-level teams, participate in faculty meetings, oversee classroom behavior, administer standardized tests, and engage with families to support student learning. Requires a Bachelor's Degree and a Colorado teaching license or ability to obtain licensure within the first year; subject-area endorsement preferred. Contract length is 178 days with teacher salary schedule (range $51,516 - $83,929) based on education and experience. Exempt position starting August 12, 2026.
