Job Summary
Postsecondary CTE teacher responsible for designing and delivering instruction in designated CTE content areas aligned with state standards and district curriculum. Responsibilities include creating a positive learning climate, delivering rigorous lessons, employing diverse teaching practices to meet students’ needs, observing and evaluating student performance, managing classroom behavior, communicating with parents and district staff, safeguarding confidential records, maintaining required certifications and professional development hours, engaging with local business to partner with the CTE program, and participating as a CTSO advisor. The role involves continuous improvement and potential duties beyond listed responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Related bachelor’s degree with two (2) years related experience.
- Related AA/AS degree with four (4) years related experience.
- One (1) year of technical training with five (5) years of verifiable experience.
- Six (6) years of full‐time in‐field verified work experience.
