Job Summary

Conduct home visits and community-based meetings to assess family needs, monitor progress, and provide trauma-informed, family-centered interventions related to parenting, mental health, and substance use. Manage an assigned caseload supporting families involved with the Department of Child Safety, including service planning, resource linkage, and documentation of interactions between caregivers and children. Respond to client or program needs via an on-call rotation while maintaining accurate records and submitting time worked in accordance with organizational policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Social Work or a related bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the human services field
  • Experience working with multi-problem families and complex family systems
  • Knowledge of family dynamics and family-centered service approaches
  • Knowledge of community resources and ability to assist families in accessing services
  • Experience supporting families impacted by substance abuse, child abuse and neglect, trauma, sexual abuse, or related challenges
  • Experience working with families involved in child welfare, family preservation, family reunification, or Department of Child Safety programs
  • Must Be At Least 21 Years of Age
  • Class One Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Central Registry Background Check
  • Drug Screening
  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Valid Unrestricted Driver's License
  • Current Auto Liability Insurance
  • 39 Month Motor Vehicle Record
  • Ability to obtain and maintain all required certifications, clearances, licenses, and insurance throughout employment
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, and drive for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • May be required to work occasional evenings, weekends, or modified schedules to meet client and program needs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with families involved in child welfare, family preservation, family reunification, or Department of Child Safety programs preferred
