Job Summary
Family and Community Liaison at Barber Preparatory Academy leads outreach to families and the broader community to boost involvement, clarifies school policy and procedures for families, develops materials, facilitates communication between parents and teachers, connects families to school and community resources, and establishes community partnerships; duties include additional school-time responsibilities such as morning, dismissal, and lunch duties. The role requires a bachelor’s degree (preferred), strong verbal and written communication, proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based apps, at least 2 years of community-outreach experience, ability to handle confidential information, and ability to pass federal and state background checks.
