Job Summary
Provide diverse cooking styles for Viv, Dean, and visiting groups of 10 to 25 AlgaeCal leaders five days a week. Prepare lunches and dinners using 90% organic, locally grown ingredients, including butchering game and fish if skilled. On Fridays, cook extra meals for the weekend. This role requires a believer in whole, organic, regeneratively farmed foods to create nutrient-dense dishes from scratch. Experience with Asian cuisine, Brazilian wood BBQ, and wild game is helpful. AlgaeCal serves as a training and planning center in the BC Rockies, offering a full medical/dental benefits package and flexible holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to cook several different countries/regions favorite dishes
- Believer in whole, organic, regeneratively farmed foods
- Cook and clean up for lunches/dinners 5 days per week
- On Fridays, prepare extra meals for the weekend
