Job Summary
Liaison between district sites and families to engage and support students, coordinating family engagement services, trainings, and events; develop and deliver trainings for families and staff to increase family involvement; collect and analyze data on family needs to connect them with school resources; collaborate with district staff to plan workshops, meetings, and college trips for diverse families; communicate with district personnel, school staff, families, students, and public agencies; visit families’ homes to disseminate information and invite participation; organize and facilitate family meetings and education nights to promote engagement; maintain records of activities and prepare reports; adapt work hours to meet community needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma and college-level courses required, in areas of behavior science, sociology, or public relations
- MUST POSSESS AND MAINTAIN A VALID CALIFORNIA DRIVER'S LICENSE
- A CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK AND PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT

- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver's license.
