Job Summary

Coordinate family logistics including weekday pickups and drop-offs, manage school activities, and handle errands while preparing backpacks and snacks. Oversee household systems by creating organization workflows, coordinating cleaners and contractors, and managing inventory for pantry, supplies, and subscriptions. Prepare vegan meals for the family, manage laundry, and maintain the home through daily resets and seasonal swaps. Update the shared calendar and support the family's evolving weekly needs with proactive planning and independent problem-solving.

Required Qualifications

  • CPR and First Aid (willing to obtain)
  • Vaccinations (including Covid-19 and the flu)
  • Maintain a smoke-free environment
  • Experience and confident in the kitchen with basic meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, following recipes, and preparing healthy vegan family meals
  • Prior experience with vegan cooking is a plus, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are highly valued
  • Consistent support on Monday and Wednesday evenings from 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Flexibility in working days to align with the family's evolving weekly needs and schedule
  • Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive and resourceful; anticipates needs and solves problems independently
  • Excellent communicator who is professional, direct, and responsive

  • Prep vegan meals 2-3x per week to encompass 5 dinners per week, with some leftovers and snacks
  • Prep school lunches

  • Kitchen clean-up and maintenance
  • Wash, fold and organize laundry
  • Ironing and steaming
  • Put out the fresh set of sheets for the housekeepers
  • Maintain laundry area tidy and well stocked
  • Occasional brief walks with dog
  • Comfortable with dogs
  • Dog-sitting as needed, if it works with your schedule
  • When needed oversee cleaners and contractors and landscapers
  • Research and coordinate repairs and quotes
  • Updating a shared family calendar
