Job Summary

Direct and assist in implementing all program components of the Student Assistance Model by facilitating developmentally appropriate individual and group education sessions. Provide case management and follow-up services to parents, students, and community professionals, including conducting parent meetings, addressing truancy issues, and distributing clothing and food. Offer presentations and trainings for faculty and families on mental health, SEL, and family wellbeing strategies. Guide families to appropriate community resources for immediate needs and technology assistance. Collect and maintain all program data and complete required reporting. Requires a Master's degree in counseling or social work with three years of related experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in counseling or social work
  • Knowledge in education and counseling services, including drug, alcohol, and violence prevention
  • Knowledge and experience of social service referral sources in the community
  • Leadership ability and team building skills
  • Good human relation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Ability to implement and incorporate existing protocol, practices and policies into the work environment
  • Ability to organize, implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures, etc., of the business

Desired Qualifications

  • Three or more years of related experience
