Job Summary
Provide intensive support, consultation, behavioral coaching, and crisis intervention to children and families in home, school, and community settings within Community Based Services. Responsibilities include delivering behavior management consultation, parent/life-skills training, building caregiver and child competencies, supporting families through SSI/SSDI processes, completing timely documentation, informing treatment plans, conducting behavior health sessions, connecting families with community resources, offering on-going school-based behavioral support, and coordinating with community agencies. Requires driving to client sites, availability in evenings and at least one weekend day, and utilization of agency-provided vehicle. Qualifications include a BA in Human Services or related field, crisis intervention skills, and ability to schedule around evenings/weekends; valid Colorado driver’s license and background checks. Compensation ranges $23.00-$25.00 per hour; estimated hourly rate translates to annualized salary of approximately $47,840–$52,000, plus full benefits for eligible roles.
Required Qualifications
- B.A. in Human Services or related field preferred
- 2-3 years experience working with children and families preferred
- Training and demonstrated skills in crisis intervention
- Strong knowledge and experience with issues encountered when working with children with disabilities and/or trauma
- Strong organizational, communication, coordination skills; ability to work independently
- Evenings and weekends availability; Sun-Th or Tues-Sat schedule
- Colorado driver’s license (must obtain within 30 days)
