Job Summary
Conduct family strength assessments and maintain enrollment by recruiting eligible families and building rapport through ongoing interactions. Initiate Family Partnership Agreements, provide real-time data entry to ensure program integrity, and partner with local community resources to identify obstacles. Advocate for families by guiding them toward healthy self-reliance, supporting goal completion, and assisting with health screenings and medical home access. Co-facitate Parent Meetings and Family Fun Nights while collaborating with teachers to ensure seamless program flow. Requires a background check, drug test, and physical; eligible for student loan forgiveness and paid education.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 40 lbs
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving history
- Excellent interviewing skills
- Active listening skills
- Knowledge of drug culture in our communities
- Completion of a credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or a related field within 18 months of hire
- Associate's degree in a related field (or an Associate's degree with at least 18 credit hours in studies related to social work, human services, family services, or counseling)
- 2 years social services experience
