Job Summary
Work with families to assess their strengths and support them in setting and meeting individual and family goals. Guide families toward healthy self-reliance and nurture positive relationships as they prepare children for kindergarten and beyond. Recruit, enroll, and maintain participation with eligible families; develop rapport and provide ongoing support through interactions. Initiate Family Strengths Assessments and Family Partnership Agreements; provide real-time data entry to ensure program integrity. Partner with local resources and agencies; advocate for families toward healthy self-reliance. Encourage completion of child health screenings and assist families in locating medical/dental homes; guide access to available services and crisis-intervention resources. Collaborate with teachers to ensure clear communications and seamless program flow; plan and co-facilitate Parent Meetings and Family Fun Nights. All positions require a background check, drug test, and physical. Education/Training: within 18 months of hire, obtain credential or certification in social work, human services, family services, counseling or related field (in-house credentialing or approved coursework possible). Associate’s degree preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to meet driving-history requirements. Flexible hours and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.
