Job Summary
Provide crisis intervention linkages, authorize service allocation, and coordinate delivery with community resources to ensure family support and placement stabilization. Conduct strength and cultural discovery sessions to help families identify natural supports and immediate needs, while offering education and peer support on nutrition, parenting, budgeting, and housing. Act as an advocate for families involved with Family Support Services, assisting with mindshare referrals and locating appropriate child care. Enter information into FSFN and Mindshare systems using Microsoft Office software. Fulfill other duties as required, including assisting and training others. Work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and nights as needed. Requires a valid driver's license and 2+ years of direct services experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2 to 5 years related experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Appropriate insurance
- 2+ years Direct Services Experience
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Experience as a consumer or caregiver within the SOC
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to work nights
