Job Summary
Provides program case management services to children and families in Oregon through Head Start standards, including enrollment procedures, home visits, child health screenings, and linking families to health, education, and community resources. Coordinates with staff to support attendance, plans and evaluates parent-related activities, maintains records in an electronic tracking system, and promotes family engagement while safeguarding confidentiality. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a credential or degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling or related field or relevant work experience with a certificate due within 12 months of hire. Pay range is $18.94-$23.65 hourly; benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- A credential, certificate or degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling or related field OR 1 year of work experience in a health and/or social services field or in a position that combines administrative and customer support duties AND Must complete OCDC’s Family Advocate Certificate Level 1 within 12 months of hire OR 2 years of work experience in an environment working with children and/or families AND Must complete OCDC’s Family Advocate Certificate Level 1 within 12 months of hire
