Job Summary
Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for children in a safe and engaging environment, leading drills, games, and skill-building activities that promote physical development and teamwork. Communicate effectively with parents regarding player progress while maintaining a positive, encouraging atmosphere during all sessions. Set up and break down equipment at various program locations throughout the SE Massachusetts area, adapting techniques to meet diverse age groups and skill levels. Maintain a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends, with CPR/First Aid certification required. Uphold Soccer Shots' curriculum and values as part of a mission-driven team dedicated to character-building experiences for youth across the region.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for working with children and a natural ability to connect with young athletes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both kids and parents
- Reliable transportation to travel to program sites across the SE Massachusetts region
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check required
