Job Summary
Plan and deliver age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for children in a safe and engaging environment, leading drills, games, and skill-building activities that promote physical development and teamwork. Maintain a positive, encouraging atmosphere while communicating effectively with parents regarding player progress. Set up and break down equipment at various program locations throughout the SE Massachusetts area, adapting techniques for diverse age groups and skill levels. Work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends, with reliable transportation required to travel across the region. Uphold Soccer Shots' curriculum, values, and coaching standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for working with children and a natural ability to connect with young athletes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both kids and parents
- Reliable transportation to travel to program sites across the SE Massachusetts region
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check required
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in soccer coaching, youth sports instruction, or child development preferred
