Job Summary
Assist the Event Coordinator with rosters, welcome packets, and paperwork before each tournament. Serve as a tournament official by maintaining rule knowledge, announcing games, and operating scoreboards. Act as a customer service representative to coaches and work with front office personnel to execute all tournament operations. Perform grounds crew duties including field work, filling water coolers, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms, and trash removal. Support Concessions and Retail Managers as a cashier, grill staff, or retail floor restocker. Convey a high level of professionalism while providing extraordinary external and internal customer service. Absorb training and demonstrate initiative to uphold the Ripken brand values.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or working towards Bachelor's Degree in related field
- Computer skills, particularly in Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Team player who is willing and able to listen and learn
- Ability and commitment to work long hours, including weekends, depending on business needs
