Job Summary
Accompany videographers on assignments, shoot video, and run teleprompters or studio cameras for live newscasts. Edit video, bumpers, and teases, while developing shoulder boxes and graphics. Participate in daily news meetings to bring ideas and learn directing. No intern will work in any on-air capacity. Internships run weekdays from 9:30am to 6pm, with shifts ranging from two to five days per week. Applicants must have completed at least one year of college, hold a valid PA driver's license, and pass a background check and drug test.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed at least one year of college
- Established residency in Pennsylvania
- Valid PA Driver's License and good driving record
- Interns are required to successfully complete a background check and drug testing prior to beginning any internship with BRC13
Desired Qualifications
- Broadcast Journalism or equivalent communications majors preferred
