Job Summary
Fall Student Intern – Commissioners’ Office provides hands-on exposure to local government, public policy, and community engagement. Interns work with staff on administrative, research, and outreach projects, draft briefing memos, attend public meetings and internal briefings, organize and maintain research data, and present findings. The role requires strong written and verbal communication, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a professional environment. Preferred study areas include political science, public administration, or communications. Approximately 10–20 hours per week with a hybrid work schedule in Littleton, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Studying political science, public administration, communications, or a related field
- Must successfully pass pre-employment testing which includes an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) and background check
