Job Summary
Support manufacturing operations through process control and continuous improvement initiatives while assisting with product and process development projects focused on improving quality, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, collect and analyze production data to identify trends, and prepare technical documentation to update work instructions. Apply industry standards and best practices related to sand casting and manufacturing processes to contribute to cross-functional projects supporting operational excellence. This co-op offers hands-on experience in the aerospace sand casting industry with mentorship from experienced professionals and a monthly housing stipend for eligible participants.
Required Qualifications
- pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another related field
- minimum of 12 semester hours in core degree course work
- rising sophomore (at minimum) when co-op begins
- legally authorized to work in the US for any employer without sponsorship now or at any point in the future
