Job Summary
Fall Protection Technician responsible for inspecting, repairing and evaluating fall protection equipment (e.g., harnesses, SRLs, lanyards, cable ladders, tripods, davit arms, entry devices) for clients and internal operations. Duties include inspecting and replacing worn parts, decontamination with manufacturer-approved solutions, assisting in facility safety inspections and customer walkthroughs, responding to client questions, and processing warranty returns. Requires on-site work, on-call availability, heavy lifting, travel (10-20%), and compliance with safety and manufacture guidelines. Strong emphasis on safety, customer service, and collaboration; must be capable of working independently and adhering to company policies. E-Verify participation noted.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 plus years’ experience in industrial fall protection
- Current TWIC Card
- Skill in inspection, repair, maintenance and testing techniques for safety equipment and systems
- Valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract
- Competent computer skills
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively
- Ability to work independently
- Must be flexible to work long hours including on-call, weekends and holiday schedule
- Willingness to travel a must
- All inspections, repairs and maintenance on equipment is performed in accordance with safety and manufacture guidelines
