Job Summary
Experienced Fall Protection SME Safety Specialist to direct or administer ES&H programs at the company/project level. Responsible for complex safety and health disciplines to achieve compliance with ES&H standards and regulatory requirements; creates, evaluates, educates, and administers the safety program to all levels of employees; conducts surveys, investigations, and data gathering; provides regulatory interpretation and technical guidance; may supervise subordinates and administer ES&H on small-to-medium projects. Preferred subject-matter expertise in Fall Protection per ANSI/ASSP Z359. Requires a BS in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or related field and 5+ years of experience; professional certifications (ASP, GSP, CIH, CSP, CHP, OHST, CHST) are preferred or obtainable. Onsite-only role located in Oak Ridge, TN; visa sponsorship is not provided. All postings include compliance and EEO notices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or other related degree required
- 5+ years of experience; relevant professional certification preferred (e.g., ASP, GSP, CIH, CSP, CHP, OHST, CHST) or ability to obtain certification
