Job Summary

Support daily operations of various City of La Porte departments under general supervision from the Department Director. Provide technical assistance to department directors and division managers on complex administrative tasks related to local government operations. Compile and maintain extensive records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence while analyzing situations to adopt effective courses of action. Work independently to learn department policies, procedures, and operating details, utilizing Microsoft Office applications and social media management tools as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of the job while demonstrating strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
