Job Summary
Conduct weekly pool maintenance and cleaning by vacuuming, skimming, brushing walls and tile lines, and emptying skimmer and pump baskets. Test and record water chemistry, adding chemicals per safety procedures and technician direction. Assist with seasonal openings and closings, including installing, removing, and storing pool covers. Transport equipment, tools, and supplies between job sites and load/unload service vehicles daily. Perform minor equipment repairs under supervision while maintaining a clean work environment and communicating professionally with customers. Follow all safety policies and chemical handling procedures. Work outdoors in various weather conditions, lifting up to 75 pounds, with seasonal overtime opportunities during peak pool season.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable transportation to and from the reporting location
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 75 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions including heat, humidity, and light rain
- Ability to safely handle pool equipment and chemicals following company procedures
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous labor, landscaping, construction, maintenance, or outdoor work experience
- Willingness to learn pool maintenance techniques and equipment
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
