Fall Group Leader at After School SONYCICE (62358)

Create and lead engaging activities for up to 20 youth, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the program. Design and implement lesson plans for multidisciplinary activities using knowledge of positive youth development, incorporating student feedback and involving children in thematic-based lessons. Ensure academic assistance is provided during homework periods while serving as a positive role model and upholding professional behavior. Work constructively with co-counselors and colleagues, communicating regularly with supervisory staff and parents regarding student progress. Maintain responsibility for designated program supplies and facilities, complete all necessary documentation, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires HS diploma or HSE, experience with middle and high school populations, and full school-year commitment. Monday through Friday partial-year part-time schedule with 17.5 hours weekly.
