Fall Group Leader - After School SONYC PS34 (62414)

Create and lead engaging activities for up to 20 youth, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the program. Design and implement lesson plans for multidisciplinary activities using knowledge of positive youth development while incorporating student feedback. Ensure academic assistance is provided during homework periods and serve as a positive role model for middle and high school students. Work constructively with co-counselors and supervisory staff, communicating regularly with parents regarding student progress. Maintain responsibility for program supplies and facilities, completing all necessary documentation and administrative tasks. This role requires a commitment to the entire school year with partial-time hours from 2:15pm to 6:00pm.
