Fall Adjunct Faculty (English) (On Campus)

Job Summary
Teach up to nine semester credit hours of English courses on campus as dictated by student demand, hold office hours, and assist students as needed. Maintain a regular schedule of face-to-face interactions and effectively communicate orally and in writing while interacting professionally with the general public. Plan, organize, and prioritize tasks under stress while maintaining confidentiality. This temporary appointment is for the Fall 2026 semester and requires a Master's degree in English with 18 graduate hours. Applications must include a curriculum vitae, letter of interest, three professional references, and unofficial transcripts, with initial review beginning August 3, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in English or a closely related area
- minimum of 18 graduate hours in the discipline
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with the general public
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks
- Ability to work under stress and with pressing timelines
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
