Job Summary
Support the State Fiscal Policy (SFP) Network and Organizational Effectiveness efforts by assisting with onboarding new SPP directors, researching organizational best practices, and supporting SPP steering committee meetings. Contribute to creating high-quality monthly newsletters and events, gain experience in organizational management and stakeholder engagement, assist in planning events and trainings, and research current trends in organizational development.
Required Qualifications
- Enrollment as graduate student or recent graduate (preferred)
- Ability to work 30-40 hours per week during core Eastern Time business hours
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. with documentation and an SSN as of start date
Desired Qualifications
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with CRM or engagement software (e.g., Salesforce, CVENT, or MailChimp)
- Demonstrated interest in nonprofit management, racial equity, and/or event planning
- Experience with management, event planning, or newsletter writing for nonprofits (preferred)
