Job Summary
Support SFP Campaigns and Communications teams by researching and tracking key state and federal policy actions; attending meetings of partners, allies, and related organizations; writing biweekly newsletters; posting content for our online community; tracking media mentions; and assisting with prospect research, grant reports, event planning, and database management. Requires strong writing, research, and organizational skills, an interest in economic and racial equity, and experience with Excel. Open to current undergraduate students or recent graduates. Internship is remote within the U.S. with a Washington, DC hybrid option (in-person two days/week at the DC office). Schedule: 30-40 hours per week during core Eastern Time business hours; start September 8, 2026 and end December 18, 2026. Compensation ranges by degree level as outlined in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Interest in CBPP’s mission and issues
- Strong writing, research, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated interest in economic and/or racial equity and public policy
- Experience with Excel
- Education: current undergraduate students or recent graduates
